What a fuck ...Yes yes yes "Take photos"! What a fuck wit I was! I left a agent let little flat in Reading after the rent spiralled upwards and my wage downwards and, last straw, I was charged 40 quid for a letter telling me that my rent was going up. I packed up and moved onto next housing disaster but when I went to "get my bond back" (ho ho ho) the little suited turd just laughed and said "You really thought you were going to get your bond back didn't you?" He then described a differnt flat to mine now all fucked up and unfit for inhabitation. I'd spent a weekend scrubbing the place crystal but my objections were ignored. Next place was a right dump but I withheld final month's rent in lieu of bond repayment. Landlady went ape but could do fck all. In the end I emmigrated.stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06964690628169966854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2426994241466690932.post-5696935442592915672009-05-27T00:47:15.876-07:002009-05-27T00:47:15.876-07:00With gas safety, you can't be too careful. People chuck away post (or it's nicked, as in Dovecot Towers) and emails are deleted. Keep them, especially when negotiating rental agreements or the 'extras' offered to tenants as a sweetener, especially if it's something like an agreement to let tenants decorate, or rent free periods, or free internet.RenterGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12556830109922784321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2426994241466690932.post-33195185544822953562009-05-26T04:56:00.777-07:002009-05-26T04:56:00.777-07:00My landlord although being good about most things,...My landlord although being good about most things, is a bit lax on the gas safety certificate. I have to remind him each year, but this dies mean that I have a paper trail of gaps in cover for this. Thought it might come in useful if If ever get into a dispute with hime.TimAnoreply@blogger.com
